WEEE & Duty of Care Statement

Under UK law, a business's Duty of Care for waste and scrap stock does not end when a lorry leaves its yard. Basic Business Solutions works within Environment Agency waste brokerage regulations when arranging the movement of end-of-life and non-viable electrical stock.

For every consignment we route, we verify the carrier licence, environmental permits, and Authorised Approved Treatment Facility (AATF) accreditation of each party in the chain, and route stock to the nearest suitable facility to cut unnecessary haulage miles.

Clients receive a consolidated compliance pack for each load, including Waste Transfer documentation, recovery certification, and a Scope 3 carbon diversion summary for ESG reporting. Data-bearing devices are only routed to partners certified for secure data destruction, with serial-numbered certificates issued.
